Abstract
Abstract: The human genome is tightly packaged into chromatin and forms complex structures of which the functional outputs, such as gene expression, depend on local chromatin states and chromatin three-dimensional organization. Epigenomic modifications and chromatin interactions are tightly associated. An emerging question is to understand the relationship between structure and function of the chromosome. In this talk I will discuss our recent efforts of connecting the epigenomic modifications to the chromatin structure and identifying the protein complexes mediating chromatin looping.
