Your Unrestricted Support Provides Funding for Graduate Student Fellowships
Donations are sought for graduate fellowships that help recruit and support superior first year IPQB graduate students. These graduate fellowships are essential to the IPQB Program's ability to offer the unique learning environment for which they are known, and are the sole resource for funding outstanding graduate students during their first year. The IPQB Program fosters interdisciplinary research and therefore first year IPQB graduate students rotate through faculty laboratories before selecting a research advisor. After their first year rotations, each graduate student is supported by grant funds (made available by their research advisor) for the remainder of their academic tenure at UC Santa Barbara. The generous support from alumni and friends enables IPQB to recruit top graduate students and maintain research and educational excellence within the Program.
